ABOUT ME
Yvonne Smith
Quality Assurance Director
Yvonne has been with Supporting Community Independence since the beginning. She wears many hats with SCI including QIDP, administrative duties, managing staff, annual trainings, and fundraising. Yvonne also serves as the SPOD for the company's Special Olympic Team, SCI HUSKIES. Yvonne is currently certified as an OIG Trainer and a CPR instructor. Yvonne plays a huge role in advocating for our individuals.

ABOUT ME
I have over 31 years of experience working with special needs. I graduated from SIUE in 1993 with a B.S. of Science and in 2014 with a Masters Degree in School Administration. I played college basketball and continued my love for sports coaching Girls Track and Field and Girls Basketball at the High School level for 10 plus years. I am married and have 3 children.

ABOUT ME
I have over 25 years of experience working with special needs. I graduated from SIUE in 1999 with a B.S. of Science and from McKendree in 2008 with a Masters Degree in School Administration. I am currently working on my Doctrine from McKendree, with an emphasis on Superintendency. I too, played college basketball like my wife, Yvonne. I have been coaching Boys Basketball for over 25 years and I am currently the Varsity coach at Metro East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville. I am married and have 3 children.
Anthony Smith
Human Resource Director
Anthony has been with Supporting Community Independence since the beginning. Anthony is the HR Director and handles all personnel issues with SCI. Anthony is a QIDP, holds SCI's Annual Training, and is a Coach and Unified partner for the SCI Huskies. Anthony is currently certified as an OIG Trainer and a CPR instructor.

Connor Pinsker
QIDP
Connor joined the SCI family in 2024 as the QIDP for our male individuals. Connor has a background in Exercise Science and enjoys helping the individuals with their Special Olympics training & competitions. Connor is also the chair of the SCI Human Rights committee.

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME
I have 4 years of experience working with special needs individuals. I graduated from Lewis & Clark Community College in 2023 with an Associates of Science, with an emphasis on Occupational Therapy. I was involved in competitive cheerleading and gymnastics from a young age and am currently the Assistant Cheer Coach at Metro East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, painting, and hiking.
Abbey Fox
QIDP/ COTA-L
Abbey joined the SCI team in 2024 as the QIDP for our female individuals. In addition to her role as a QIDP, Abbey also creates the monthly activity calendar and serves as a member of the Human Rights Committee
